Our Salvation – Peace with God

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Revelation 4:8b “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, the Almighty, who was, who is, and who is coming.”

No sin can be in heaven is the bad news. There is some good news.

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

John 3:16 “For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”

John 14:6 “Jesus told him, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’”

Acts 16:31 “So they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.’”

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 “For I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”

The Gospel rests on these two pillars: death and resurrection. Both facts are essential for salvation.

John 1:12 “But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in His name.”

Romans 5:9 “Much more then, since we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from wrath.”
